Thank you for your kindness and helpfulness last night. We do appreciate the way you happily ‘went the extra mile’ for us as we strangers passed by your way. God bless!
Gayle Room 31 – 22.5.2013
Bedding excellent! Great room, especially for someone who has little eyesight. Don’t change the lights! Great shower and great set up, very clean room. I would recommend this motel.
P.B Room 24 – 27.6.2013
A lovely tidy place to stay, everything was very clean. It was lovely to walk in the door and the room was nice and warm, it was a very welcoming feeling. This is our second time here and there will be a third. Lovely service too. Thank you very much.
C. J Room 34 – 4.7.2013
Nice people, great food, excellent value. P.S. Order the T bone steak!
J.J Room 25 – 16.7.2013
This is the second time we have stayed here in the last few months and we will be back next time we are here. The friendly welcome at reception, the bright clean warm room. Exceptional shower, (the best in the country!) beautiful restaurant and the best food we have had away from home.
J. B. Room 22 – 16.7.2013
What a lovely break from driving. Everyone has been so friendly. The room is very clean, warm and comfortable, dinner was yum! and I am looking forward to a sound sleep and a nice brekky in the morning. Will definitely stay here again and would have no hesitation in recommending the Byer to family and friends. Thank you.

Lovely staff, very friendly. Readily accommodated our trailer, thank you. The ‘Barra’ was lovely and the restaurant was warm. The experience was easy, keep up the friendly approach.

Thank you very much for a lovely stay. Your rooms are very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the heating great. The room contained just what was needed, TV, fridge, toaster, tea and coffee making facilities-thanks. My only question was how to get into Foxtel, as we don’t have it at home!
Guest Roxanne S, Room 22
Lovely clean room. Room service tea prompt and hot and we enjoyed the vegetables! Hot water was hot for showers

We travel regularly, and like many have said for a friendly greeting, with clean rooms and well kept grounds this is hard to beat. As for the price, it is the best around and you get a good shower, flat screen TV, Austar, tea, biscuits, crisp sheets and comfy pillows! Some road noise but this will decrease when the bypass goes through. We also used the restaurant, homemade soup & bread roll for $8 was delicious, rack of lamb also went down well, tasty home style fare. I admire the effort of the hosts to get a lot right, I appreciated the price so reasonable.

This place hit all the right buttons – friendly owners, cheap price and basic but clean aaccommodation Also they had space to park my rather large trailer near the front entrance. It pays to stay in a room well away from the road for minimal noise at night, something the owners are well aware of. The restaurant on site was “RSL” quality (schnitzels etc.) but that was OK for me and reasonably priced.
Providing functional accommodations in Holbrook, NSW, on the long drive from Melbourne to Canberra or Sydney [or vice versa], this motel is quite adequate for the purpose of one night’s rest. Friendly owners create a pleasant atmosphere. Painted brick walls, firm bed and clean amenities are good value at $75 the night. You get what you pay for. I would recommend it for these limited purposes.
Due to the flooding in Wagga Wagga, we were evacuated to the Byer after due myself being unwell and unable to stay at an evacuation centre but not unwell enough to be in hospital. The motel is in a good location, being on the highway and in the town. Service was great with the room being very clean, good shower (better than the shower I have at home) and at a good price. If visiting the town again, I’ll be staying at this motel.

We had a lovely stay. Darcy enjoyed the beautiful gardens and looking at all the flowers and fruit trees. Our food was amazing even if we did order it in three stages. Will tell anyone coming down this way about your wonderful place. Thanks heaps
